The very nature of the Internet allows SEG to reach a far wider audience in the general public than do the traditional activities of the Society (publications, conventions and continuing education). Therefore, the SEG has a vested interest in providing online information that maintains the SEG's standards of excellence and promotes the science of geophysics. As part of this general charter, banner advertising is being accepted on various areas of the SEG Web site.  Discounts Payment within 30 days of the date of receipt of the invoice is expected. A 15% discount off the price of the Web ad to advertisers who post Web ads which run concurrently with print ads. General Policy Advertisers and advertising agencies assume liability for all content of advertisement on display, and are responsible for all claims made against the publisher arising from internet advertising. The publisher reserves the right to reject any advertising at the publisher's discretion.
